As a Therapist I Bring

The training and skills acquired from over 20 years of practice…

the life experiences of a mother, grandmother, wife, friend…

life’s highs and lows, joys and sorrows, losses and victories…

the insights acquired through experiences of learning that it is never too late to begin a new, productive life - to reinvent ourselves.

A graduate degree (UNC - CH), and an invaluable continuing education, from which I have acquired a wide range of therapeutic approaches which address different aspects of the human condition, each using a different vocabulary and a different focus. I have listed a few of these trainings in a section below.

From My Clients

From my clients I have learned  more of what it means to be human.  Whether we are homeless, or privileged, addicted or in the middle of a moral crisis, suffering from PTSD as a result of war or abuse, we all have times in our lives when we are unhappy or unfulfilled and often don’t know why.  It has been a blessing and a privilege to be allowed to participate in other’s quest for the life they want and deserve. Trauma, grief and loss are universally present in all walks of life but we don’t have to be defined by them.

Let’s work together in your pursuit of a rich and meaningful life, filled with joy and the ability to accept life’s inevitable ups and downs with serenity, purpose and grace.
